# COMECARNE – Consejo Mexicano de la Carne

> COMECARNE (Consejo Mexicano de la Carne) is Mexico's national meat industry council, founded in 1985. It represents the entire Mexican meat supply chain — livestock producers, processors, cold cuts manufacturers, poultry and pork industries, distributors and retailers — before government agencies, international bodies and the public. COMECARNE promotes food safety, sustainability, technical training, and competitiveness of the Mexican meat sector.
